Autumn in Arizona

I had a busy autumn here in the desert. It's a hard season to love here in Arizona because the temperatures can still be in the 90s during the day and you never need a cute scarf or corduroy pants unfortunately. Back on the east coast (where I'm from), autumn was my absolutely favorite.

So we do what we can and get up in the mountains. Just driving an hour or so north brings us to higher elevation where we can visit the falling leaves, sip hot cider next to a campfire. It's not a bad trade-off.

Kevin and I also attended an Outstanding in the Field event at Agritopia Farm in Gilbert. The chef from FnB came and used produce from the farm to create an incredible meal in the peach orchards.

And last but not least, the olives from our tree that I've been curing are finally ready ... and are surprisingly delicious! Now if only our lemon tree will join in fruition....
